The conference "The Great Transformation: On the Future of Modern Societies" is organised by the DFG-funded research group "Kolleg Postwachstumsgesellschaften Landnahme, Acceleration, Activation: The (De-)Stabilisation of Modern Growth Societies"External link and the German Sociological AssociationExternal link.

The event, which combines the 2^nd Regional Conference of the German Sociological Association with the final conference of the DFG research group, will take place from 23 to 27 September, 2019, at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
